I called my senators and asked them to vote no... but I can also see the scenario that Schumer is talking about... government shut down being the worse of the options due to the pure sabotage minded nature of the Trump administration.

I like Canada! I would welcome Canada with open arms if they wanted to join the USA. But the truth is they wouldn't be the 51st state... at the bare minimum they would be at least 5 or 6 new states. Imagine what that could do for the balance of the senate?
Trudeau: He has said repeatedly, what he wants is to see a total collapse of the Canadian economy. Because that will make it easier to annex us. First of all, that's never going to happen. We will never be the 51st state.

Elon should just resign from being chairman and CEO of Tesla. He should divest his ownership shares and give Tesla a chance to survive without him dragging them down.
