The natural environment is the foundation of human existence, and its quality is a strong influence on our individual and collective wellbeing. The idea that "the environment" or "climate change" should only be taught as stand-alone courses is absurd on its face.

Microforests produce a range of benefits for neighborhoods, absorbing stormwater and recharging groundwater, and reducing heat extremes, and attracting new birds and insects. Our analysis estimated that one site will produce at least $36K in annual benefits at maturity. #microforests
