I am driving two hours each way to/from work on my teaching days, and it is very apparent a few weeks in that I need to up my audiobook listening game. So, what are your favorites? I especially enjoy multiple narrators / full casts.

there is a thought piece in my brain about getting a tenure-track job at the weirdest/worst possible time for higher ed, but I am so thoroughly burnt out by the decade-long process of trying to get said job and then starting it next month, that it will probably stay in there.

The ink is dry, the AAHM celebrations are being planned: I will be joining Towson University's history department this fall as a tenure-track assistant professor in the history of medicine. I can't believe it finally happened. I am so happy and so lucky.
