The Whitehouse is not stupid or incompetent. They’re malicious. This entire freeze has been nothing but a trial to see how far they can go and how far the backlash will be. The chaos and confusion is the point. It’s nothing but blinders to distract you.

As one of the poorest states Oklahoma receives more federal funding than what we put in,
“Oklahoma’s net return for federal dollars was about $31.8 billion.” But sure…cut off that federal funding and cheer. You do you Oklahoma.

Working in Title 1 school to create academic success despite trauma and poverty is exhausting. On days like today where it feels like the bad guys are winning, I remember the greats in American history who have inexhaustibly fought for a more equitable world. I thank them. I am motivated by them.

Another why do we need this bill: This proposed OK bill gives tax credits to families of children where the biological mother and biological father are married. Everyone else does not get the child tax credit.
