Labour and education economist. Very slow runner. Obsessive reader. Excellent knitter. www.kellyfoley.org
The Bookers are my Super Bowl. Extremely stoked to see Flashlight and Audition on this list. Flashlight tops my list. Audition is still messing with my head. I need to catch up with the other shortlisted books. Sad that Misinterpretation got cut. I’m planning my trip to Albania already.
We are delighted to reveal the #BookerPrize2025 shortlist – six books that ‘are all brilliantly written and brilliantly human’.

In Saskatoon-University the Liberals are running an expert in sustainable resource development. A potential western cabinet minister.

Instead, we'll be getting the Conservative plastic straw apologist, thanks to vote splitting.

Sigh.
Saskatchewan is about to go almost entirely blue again because of vote splitting.

We keep voting in potatoes who do a poor job of representing our interests. Then we complain that Ottawa doesn’t care about Saskatchewan interests.

We should try electing accomplished people to represent us.

I provided some 'sounding board' advice here and there to those working on the platform. As always: I disclose, but you can decide what weight to put on that.

I bumped in to Greg Poelzer, a professor in geography at USASK, on my way home from work as he was door knocking as the @liberalca.bsky.social candidate for my riding. It really hit home for me how much all of our candidates do for us. The time and energy and sacrifice is tremendous. 🙏
