What makes a killer?
STATE OF FEAR is my new novel based on the life of a serial killer — not the headlines, but the psychology, the childhood, the warped path that led to horror.
It’s dark, character-driven, and unflinching.

So the Belfast Telegraph has an article (behind a paywall) about how Michaela McCollum is not being given a second chance. I have questioned this for years and although I can’t read the article right now, I have my own thoughts…

Just spotted State of Fear on NetGalley—my dark, twisted thriller about a life tangled with a serial killer. Not for the faint of heart.

If that’s your kind of read, grab an early copy and let me know what you think.

#NationalCrimeReadingMonth sounds like the perfect time to read one of my books. Or more than one. I won’t object

Getting up a couple of hours before the rest of the family on a Sunday morning to potter about in silence, apart from dog snores, is pretty blissful

Here is another version of same: photo of someone who has passed with more famous person. Who cares! Celebrate the person on their own merit
I would love if the press could tell us someone has died without leading with the names of others. That can surely come in a later post. The message gets lost

I was off Facebook for 8 years! I can’t believe it has been that long. I’m back on there and seeing all those faces of people I have missed is so bittersweet. I wish I hadn’t allowed myself to feel forced off there by a POS

Twitter really is a toilet. Men are tearing apart Taylor Swift’s appearance, and the ones brave enough to show their faces are absolute physical perfection, of course

I’m sad to admit that I don’t have time to mentor anyone these days due work and publishing commitments. It has been a privilege to be trusted with so manuscripts.

I did my Poetry MA dissertation on the poetry of autism and considered a similar theme for a PhD. I did the research. There are a LOT of autistic poets, RFK Jr! And they are probably the best poets IMO
