I'm selling & signing "Inland Empire & San Gabriel Movie Theatres" today at the Route 66 Mother Road Museum's grand reopening event in Barstow.

Classic car show, food vendors, live music, historical & community organizations, etc. 10am-2pm at the historic Harvey House complex, Casa Del Desierto.

This Fri & Sat, Nov 8-9, I'll be participating in the 29 Palms Book Festival.

Lots of educational sessions (including mine on Fri 11am about Route 66 in the Mojave Desert); many local authors; & other events at the Community Center & the Historical Society's Old Schoolhouse Museum.
