In recent days it has become one of the places where people spontaneously donate relief supplies. A steady stream of vehicles arrives loaded with clothing, food, mineral water and other necessities; people donate generously, and long lines of vehicles enter Happy Valley

The Eaton Fire in Los Angeles displaced many families and recently, Arcadia Pleasant Valley was one of the places where people came to donate spontaneously. Many came with food and clothing to donate, many came to collect household items; sending positive messages to each other! #Love

The Walt Disney Company has announced a $15 million donation to assist in the Los Angeles wildfire firefighting efforts and rebuilding the affected areas. Beneficiaries will include the American Red Cross, the Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation and the Los Angeles Food Bank

I mean there’s nothing more important going in in LA right now so
LAPD and LA Sanitation found the time today to destroy several tents belonging to our unhoused neighbors in LA's CD15 district. Many of these residents are elderly, disabled, and suffer from chronic disease including cancer and Stage D congestive heart failure. Please help us replace their tents.
