I actually was able to have an in-depth conversation about my series idea through the @manuscriptacademy.bsky.social which really made a HUGE difference in untangling my process and my storyline. And I would also say, that all of @scbwi.bsky.social coursework finally sunk in!😁

It really is just TOTALLY INSANE how hard it is to make a truly excellent book. Nearly everyone underestimates what’s required. I think that’s why I LOVE hanging out with people who understand.

I tend to try to stick through a book as far as possible, even if it doesn't grab my interest in any way. So, if I stop reading it, there is a big, definite reason why—something that finally made me realize this book could never be for me. That's why I don't usually give books even a second try.
