🥫 After a flood:

Discard food/medicine not in watertight containers exposed to floodwater as it can be contaminated.

Canned goods without damage can be cleaned & disinfected before use; discard dented/leaking cans.

Perishables are safe only if cold stayed below 41°F.

🏠 Post-flood cleanup safety 🧹

Wear waterproof boots & gloves, open windows/doors, and use fans to air out your home while cleaning. Discard water-soaked materials that can’t dry to prevent mold. Clean all surfaces with detergent & water.
