I think it’s worth noting this piece generated the most unsubscribes I’ve seen in a while, and the newsletter version had the lowest open rate in many months. These horrors persist in part because too many people go to great pains to avoid them.

Really enjoyed the thoughtfulness of the College Rock Chronicles pt 2 on BYR 2k, @hollywoodsteve.bsky.social -- a few gems for sure. As an almost-47-year-old, the '90s should be my foundational music, but I want to burn most of it to the ground. 😅🔥

Top notch content (ep 110) yet again from Beyond Yacht Rock 2000. Strong entries, @hollywoodsteve.bsky.social, but I'm not sure anyone beat Hunter's arguments for Clark County, NV, the great country of Canada, and Bay City, MI. I need to check out that small museum in the splinter ward 😆

Because I've seen some conspiracy theory level bs being thrown around: the prostate cancer Joe Biden has comes out of nowhere. His previous exam would have shown no cancer, then suddenly stage 4. My dad had this very cancer, metastisized to his bones as well. It is painful, he died from it. 1/2

I was proud to meet with the Brain Aneurysm Foundation and the family of Ellie Helton as we work to pass Ellie's Law and bolster research & treatment efforts.
