Attended the “No Kings” protest in Salt Lake last night. It was peaceful and fun and so well attended!!! I was really sad it ended with violence. www.fox13now.com/news/local-n...

Wet Wisteria. Got to spend some time wandering in the Red Butte botanical gardens by myself in the rain. It was healing. I’m exploring with Intention Camera movement (ICM) lately. It’s been fun. #naturephotography #wisteria

Real moments of history demand to be observed. I have forgotten almost all of my to dos today to watch as much of Sen Cory Bookers speech as I can. It is the background to everything I’m doing. This is a real moment to observe, to use as fuel. So grateful for this moment! 💙💙💙

Someone I know just got notice from social security that they were overpaid and owe the government $35k. That is what they live off for an entire year. The crooks that the government are hunting are my disabled elderly neighbors. I hate this administration and everyone that voted for it.

My crocus focus got a bit derailed by the last winter storms. March is pretending it’s January. #naturephotography #utahphotographer #snowysunset

Happy International Women’s Day! I am so grateful for the women that organized the recent Outdoor Photography Alliance conference for women. It inspired, encouraged and pushed me forward! I became a nature photographer because of the peace and strength I find in nature.

I’ve decided to do a small focused project on crocuses because I’m just desperate for flowers and it’s the first thing blooming here in Utah. This was in the rain at a local garden park yesterday. Today I woke up to snow and plan to head back. Stay tuned for crocus in the snow. 🥰

Found another crocus. It may be my mission this spring. Hunt out every crocus in a certain radius. What do you think?

Spent the weekend hunting for the first crocuses of the season. Nature persists we must too. #naturephotography #macro #crocuses

Anxious about the state of the US. But grateful for all the people I’ve seen calling their reps, protesting and getting out. Toyed around with some ICM this morning while I wait for spring blossoms to shoot. #naturephotography #intentionalcameramovement #thankyoufortheresistance

Rocky Mountain National Park from my time at #opaforwomen2025 Our National Parks deserve to be protected. They deserve to be available to the public. They deserve to be staffed by the dedicated Rangers that have loved and served these lands. Call your reps, learn #naturefirstprinciples #protectourNP

Before #opaforwomen2025 I flew in early enough to spend some time at the #denverbotanicgardens. It was a beautiful visit, and so lovely to sit with some flowers in the middle of winter. This is a color bath from a hibiscus. Dreaming of that wonderful experience today.

This sunrise was so spectacular. A really magical morning. These two images were taken mere minutes and 200 yards apart but such different expressions of light. A beautiful morning with new friends at Rocky Mountain National Park attending OPA’s conference for women.

I’m a nature photographer based near Salt Lake City. Spent most of this last week in Colorado for a women’s nature photographer conference hosted by OPA. It was amazing! I made new friends, learned new things, and found new direction. This is a photo I took of the unique ice on Lake Sprague.

Witnessed a racist attack via a Zoom Bomb of a prayer meeting tonight. How do people not understand the permission they have given to all of the worst people by voting for 🍊
