I think the greatest danger of AI is its potential to identify and limit the bandwidth of specific genres of ideology. That it is used to manipulate culture in a way that makes the population work against its own best interests.

Except that large segments of USians think themselves exempt from the blowback—which is fully deserved—when they embody hate speech with their behavior and ideology, and all the symbols thereof. Parading around with hand-me-down scribbles on a flag isn't the flex they think it is.
There's a reason why flying swastikas is illegal in most of the EU. PS: prohibiting flying a Swastika is NOT a suppression of free speech, because the Swastika itself advocates the suppression of free speech. The US has still to learn that rule.

My wait staff today had a namebadge that did not match their vibe, look or the name they introduced themselves as. That broke my heart for them. They were so nervous as new to waiting tables, it was a pleasure to reassure them of a good job. The bible belt sucks for inclusion.
