I think I’m an Independent. At 33 years old, I recognize my social learning habit of following others like me, but today—I am a community member of other humans and therefore, I align with human rights—and not what is Democratic or Republican. Hmm. #MercuryInLibra moral and ethical composting.

Friends, just checking in to see how your mental health is doing? What is your level of anxiety on a scale of 1-5 with 1 being low and 5 being high? How about feelings of hopelessness? What about feelings of hope? Joy? Belonging?
For me, I have a 3/5 anxiety, 2/5 hopelessness, 4/5 hope, 3/5 joy

IT TOOK A MONTH TO REBALANCE MY NERVOUS SYSTEM, but we are back online, back on the phone calling my lawmakers, and ready to continue to make the path by walking forward through the world to influence it.

The most sobering part about becoming 1930’s Germany is realizing that no one is going to come here and liberate those being brutalized. If this historically inhumane regime is going to be overthrown, We The American People are going to have to do it.

Earnest post, but: a thing I like here is it’s okay to have moments of happiness in public without being broadly scolded, and I believe that sustaining this kind of humanity will be very important as we resist fascism.

We have to sustain each other. Making joy isn’t denial, it’s how we will survive

grounding is a direct way to support your nervous system wherever you are. some of my most useful grounding tools I use right now: tuning in to each of my senses, emotionally expressing myself thru rage art, and using mindfulness to consider how my body feels and checking in w my emotions. WBU?

the effects of trauma on the mind, body, spirit, culture, society, and world and its ability to travel across generations rooted in the evil of the time. we are currently being systematically abused by the Trump Admin, monopolies in mainstream media, and Republican lawmakers. survivors know abusers.

In Solution-Focused Therapy, we consider solution talk to be the most effective way to support clients to turn toward their future and not focus on problem talk which is inherently in the past. Mamdani uses reflective assessment, evaluation, and strategies rather than reflexive or defensive language
Mamdani on "globalize the intifada": "That's not language that I used. The language that I used and the language that I will continue to use to lead the city is that which speaks clearly to my intent, which is an intent grounded in a belief in universal human rights."

I AM WORKING ON ACCEPTING THIS DIALECTIC
If your tech optimism doesn’t make room for existential dread, you’re not paying attention.

But if your pessimism doesn’t make room for existential astonishment, you’re missing the plot.

We are apes with code. That can be terrifying. It can be transcendent. It’s OK if it’s both.
