Yikes! Maybe this AI tutor was designed by someone who never had a good math teacher 😢
I was was hoping it’d say, “dividing fractions is totally…” VISUAL! (Not easy! But following meaningless steps is..I guess 🤦🏼‍♀️)
Where are the visuals?
People are right now slobbering pretty hard over this AI tutor demo over on LinkedIn. I think it's a mess—pedagogically, socially, and mathematically. What do you notice?

I've been doing a lot of AI in education learning, so I'm going to try to post useful info. with basic summaries. 1st thing I read was this tech.ed.gov/ai-future-of... Biggest takeaway catchphrase: Keep humans in the loop; AI can't detect "teachable moments"
Artificial Intelligence and the Future of Teaching and Learning - Office of Educational Technology
The need for sharing knowledge, engaging educators, and refining technology plans and policies for artificial intelligence (AI) use in education.
