Using neuro-affirming practice to support school wellbeing experiences of autistic girls can improve engagement and attendance. The voice of autistic girls in this research highlights a framework of supporting factors which school staff can enact.

Privileged to share research today with the EP community at the DECP TEP conference. The power of participatory research design to emancipate and empower autistic girls’ voices shines through. A school framework for supporting autistic girls wellbeing was developed with autistic co-researchers.
