Urban trees are under pressure, but we still know too little about the #pathogens affecting them.

This study of Yasin Korkmaz and me is about #Diplodia species and their emerging role in stem cankers of deciduous trees in #urban environments.

Yasin Korkmaz's, Marta Belka's and my new paper explores how overlooked animal vectors spread fungal pathogens in forests. These "cryptic vectors" play a bigger role than we think, especially as climate change shifts species distributions.
