Basically they are only “pro democracy” until the people actually use the power… so not actually pro democracy at all. #ableg

The UCP could have avoided this strike. They could have addressed valid concerns about classroom conditions. They didn’t. Because it’s not about what’s best for kids.
For the UCP it’s about winning - and not everyone winning - just them winning, and more importantly someone else losing. #ableg

In a few short days we will have the lowest minimum wage in the country. Minimum wage hasn’t gone up in 7 years - just look what cost of living has done in that time. We’re in a crisis. We deserve a government that acts. #ableg

Our Premier is absurd. “I didn’t want them to enforce the law the way I wrote it, and they should have known that” should be disqualifying for any legislator. This isn’t left-right anymore, it’s a question of basic competence. #AbLeg

It’s amazing how fast it happens! Our kids are turning into the people they are going to be and every experience will help form that. Which is why it is so important that we invest in them now.

I love being Canadian - and the verdict is in from Calgary-Mountain View, they agree. Folks are super concerned about the economic damage done to Montreal by the Quebec referendum. Montreal was the economic engine, not anymore. I don’t want the same for Calgary. #AbLeg
