Does recovery key = rotation key? I see them used interchangeably, and this sorta seems to describe the role of a rotation key docs.bsky.app/docs/advance...

They make bold claims about storage (I’ll check later what’s up with that), but want to recommend orbstack if you haven’t tried it, it’s very pleasant. Auto domain names and ssl, and Linux machines are features I use a lot. Not open source though

And it’s able to be updated later still to add new acceptable string values?
January 8, 2026 at 2:55 PM
You can just do known values red, yellow, green right? And later add flashing yellow and purple? atproto.com/guides/lexic... for example, if I’m making a status lexicon I could just add emoji strings to known values, and there’s no need to create token lexicons for each one?

The Git panel has a new tree view that helps you visualize changes in the context of your project’s structure. 🌳

I know this wasn’t the point of Hailey’s post, but the idea of a “subreddit” like interface on here made me think of this
January 7, 2026 at 2:52 PM
Maybe a curated feed could work for this
January 7, 2026 at 2:50 PM
Please, I need an out of the loop “container” to understand the weird discourse always happening here. (dog boobs and googles balls most recently).
literally anything that either a. reduces visibility, b. creates community-defined spaces, or both. group chats do this, subreddits do this, etc. there’s a ton of possibilities. idk what will end up happening but anything along those lines is useful.

also less politics-in-your-face

We have some new blogging platforms from the bluesky dev community 🙂 @pckt.blog @leaflet.pub there will be more to come and they’re all working together rn too
January 6, 2026 at 7:15 PM
Alright I learned some stuff. Started using opencode and reading their docs. I’m a devops engineer, so, I created the agent file and skills in a gitops repo, and now you just talk to a thing to control deployments and create new environments and it is very cool 😌
