I was honored to be a field reviewer on @ASAMorg new clinical guidance. While there is so much more work to do in this area to undo the paternalism of substance use tx- especially as it relates to methadone - this is a gesture in the right direction....

Alright, #harmreduction twitter. The 3-day exemption. I'm getting some questions from state-level colleagues about the rule being for bupe & that the x-waiver means no more need for the exemption. From my understanding, this was to cont. methadone post d/c. Any good resources?

I’m thankful I have insurance. I also wish I didn’t have to pay $130 a month to keep this body going.
