Editorial pals: My print copy of CMoS is the 16th edition. Can anyone tell me if the 18th gives the same guidelines? The entry is "plural forms of Native American group names." Thanks!!

This article features my collaborators and friends. This is insanity. Books that teach empathy must be pretty damn powerful if so many people are trying to silence them, hmm?

YES! Years ago I wrote an article about how @barefootbooks.bsky.social developed our version of Little Red Riding Hood to preserve the message about safety but strip out the sexualization of Little Red. It was SUCH a neat article but the publication folded and the article seems to be gone forever.
periodic reminder that if you write stuff that's published on the web for a publication you yourself do not own, PDF that shit as soon as it goes live

Donald Trump is breaching the Constitution and breaking the law.

A show of force so he can militarize our cities because of the 2026 elections.

We need to stand up together and speak up.

Listen. ONE of the reasons I rock with Dolly (Capricorn Gang) is because she’s always proven to me that integrity may cause you pain, but it will never be the reason you suffer. Which is not to say that suffering won’t come, but it’ll never be because you abandoned yourself. That’ll keep you going.

This week as I absolutely flail my way toward a huge deadline I am grateful for this article about the Millennium Dome. It reminded me that it could be worse -- at least I'm scrambling to finish something that doesn't suck!

Was the Millennium Dome really so bad? The inside story of a (not so) total disaster
The long read: Even before it opened, the Dome had become a byword for failure. But two decades on, it could be time for a reassessment
