Our WMBC Open Day will be a brilliant opportunity for you to find out more about our nature reserves! 🌳

There will be bite-sized lectures about our 4 main reserves, plus our reserve representatives will be on hand throughout the day to answer any of your questions 🙋

Many thanks to the 28 teams who participated in Saturday's #westmidsalldayer. Some good totals achieved with Blithfield aided by 14 species of waders. By my reckoning a total of 145 species were noted across the sites; main omissions were Med Gull, Corn Bunting, Tree Sparrow + Arctic Tern.

Bartley today. Constant drizzle, low cloud. Little did we realise that Stewart's Reed Bunting was going to be the highlight. Effort mostly concentrated this morning. Kate braved the rain late afternoon but nothing new. 52 species, 5 observers. Not even a Great Crested Grebe. #westmidsalldayer
