AUDION #VR: Reactor powerup #2 to beat levels is the GravityWell which pulls all IONs together to then activate a second Reactor for maximum effect. Learning how to chain Reactors like this is essential for beating the harder levels. Free Quest 2/3/3s demo:

I spent a few weeks creating some mini #audiogame demos in #mixedreality with #spatialaudio. I wanted to create simple game ideas that had visuals, but you have to use your listening skills to complete the levels. "Mosquito Hunt" was the simplest, but easily the most fun!

I got myself a Neumi Atom 4k Ultra-HD player for Christmas (~$50) so I can properly enjoy music in Dolby TrueHD Atmos (and practically every other surround format) on my home theater system.

Box for the Neumi Atom 4k player, a very compact device that reads media files from micro SD card slot and USB port and can bitstream surround-sound audio to an A/V receiver. My TV showing the album artwork & track list for the album titled “TRYPTYCH” by Symbion Project, which is playing in Dolby TrueHD Atmos from an MkV file on a micro SD card.

AUDION #VR: Another gameplay mechanic are EJECTORS, fired at you from the Core. After you smash benign white IONs with the Core, it activates and begins to attack you with rogue Ejector Ions which you must smack or repel... otherwise they deal serious damage!

AUDION #VR: Another gameplay feature is SMACK, where you can bring up a shield on each hand to smack away IONs that get too close to you. It's a last resort if ATTRACT or REPEL is not an option. The best use is for EJECTORs that the Core throws at you.

AUDION #VR: While the main goal is to keep the IONs away from you while ATTRACTing them, the other is to keep them from hitting you causing damage. Charge up REPEL with the grip-trigger to blast all IONs away — the longer the charge, the bigger the blast!

When playing AUDION #VR the goal is to split IONs into increasingly smaller forms. One way to do this is ATTRACT where you bond with the ION to release its musical energy. Be careful though as this also draws the ION to you & causes harm! Play it free on #sidequestvr :
