As far as I am able to think, religion, death and love go to the same bar to have a drink, to meet them you have to go there too

Yesterday I was thinking about what my life is

I observed that whichever experience dominates my life at a particular time or phase becomes my life

If anger is raging inside me I feel I am angry and if sadness then I feel I am sad

So am I just "thought" and "experience"....?

I have found that if you see in your psyche where a thing is coming from then it kinda loses its effect, it doesn't affect you anymore as soon as you know the origin of it

This is somewhat crazy

Simplicity is beautiful

Have you ever felt insanely stupid at some point in your life...?

What did you do then...?

I have started to think more and more of an individual as a personality spread across time, haunted with its traumas, failures, lies and fear of death

In the psyche there is no time, we live across millennia and millennia through us

High resolution image = More pixels (more vectors) per unit area of the screen

Low resolution image = Less pixels per unit area

Am I missing something....!!?

Physical and psychological comforts distort the perception of the true condition of life, even though you might detect it using intellect "sometimes"....

Each problem you stumble upon tells something about you and unless you figure that out the problem will keep coming back, so confront them don't run

Comparison is a toddler seeking the attention and love of its parents

Therefore we have a lot of such middle aged toddlers in our society

What do you think!!?

Everybody wants to become a hero but few are able to achieve it

Most people continue dragging their cold lives, passing through the miserable choking experience of daily life

This post goes deep into why we like heroes and how to become one:

Another insight:

Meaning is like actual terrain, language is like "zoom control feature" on Google maps

You can use language to describe a terrain at different levels of clarity but that cannot become the replacement of the original thing (the terrain) itself

I have this problem: I have an interest in knowing death, love etc.

All these kinds of things require me to experience them myself, intellect doesn't help here.

How can I possibly do so...?

Building your ConnectX agent is hard

I worked on building a minimax agent with alpha-beta pruning

A thread summarizing what I have learnt so far

Just realised today that I can actually "taste" words, it's insane!

Discovered a writing lesson: Let the madness make you mad. Don't put too many rules. Have a structure just enough to be able to channel this madness onto paper.

Becker says: "Heroism is a result of our fear of death, our mortal biological nature"

Campbell says: "Hero cycles are important for individual development"

Both are in some sense opposites, i am like: so we need to be afraid of death our whole life to develop individually...?

Looking at your internal world as just a set of automatic programs, running on their own, works very well if your mind is a mess

After so much struggle I realised that alpha beta pruning for minimax is just minimax with a facility to cut unwanted branches, which is quite similar to gardening, chopping off the branches you don't need or like🪻

Minimax with alpha beta pruning is better than simple minimax as it reduces the amount of work we put in the wrong directions

If alpha beta finds some node does not satisfy the condition then it does not go down to the nodes below it, which saves a lot of time
