‘The Last Thing’ by Slovak author Leopold Lahola, translated by Julia and Peter Sherwood, has been shortlisted for the inaugural Freudenheim Translation Prize!

Judging panel chair Boyd Tonkin refers to the shortlist’s "extraordinary literary rediscoveries and urgent contemporary voices".
