March of Crimes was a Bainbridge Island hardcore band active in Seattle in the early 80s. (Novelist) Jonathan Evison on vocals. (Soundgarden) Ben Shepherd on bass. (Pearl Jam) Stone Gossard on guitar, along with Andy Caro and Steve Nelson. Their 10 song demo was called 'Fairweather Friend' (1983).

Alternate cover photos of the Alice in Chains' Jar of Flies EP, released in Jan 1994. Photographer Rocky Schenck said he can't remember the name of the kid, but remembers his assistant making multiple trips up the street to gather hundreds of flies with a butterfly net at some nearby horse stables.

October 1987 (Seattle) Rocket classified ads that Kurt Cobain and Andrew Wood placed seeking new members in their respective bands. Cobain's ad didn't land anyone new, as Dale Crover helped out until Dave Foster joined. Wood's band Malfunkshun ended up disbanding shortly after the ad was placed.
