My coworker, who is loathed by the department and underperforms, got moved into the role I told my boss I was interested in. I outperform my coworkers by at least double their numbers in every aspect of the job, literally. I'm still a temp. Very frustrating day.

The guy who helped me at the Department of Licensing today was from OK and named Bill Hicks and knew the comedian Bill Hicks. I thought it was neat.

Despite being a contractor still, my manager wants to hire me full-time with the company and make me the lead over the people who trained me. I hate that this is such a red flag to me, but appreciate their confidence in my ability.
