Day 2 of the She’s Got Time Summit was powerful. In my talk with Swin Cash, we spoke about centering joy, choosing ourselves daily, and building intentional legacies. The energy in the room was pure purpose!

Trailblazer Award.
This isn't just recognition-it's a call to action. For every Black and Brown queer elder who walked before me, and us all.
We're not just visible-we're Out & Organized. And we're not done until every LGBTQIA+ life is safe, supported, and free.
Thank you, @NAACP. Let's keep going.

🏳️‍🌈 Rise Up: Pride & Protest! 🏳️‍⚧️
Pride began as an uprising — not a party. Inspired by Marsha P. Johnson & Sylvia Rivera: “No pride for some of us without liberation for all of us.” We rise to protest hate, protect each other, and fight for freedom. Pride is protest. ✊🏳️‍🌈✨

This is why we celebrate Juneteenth. Spread the whole, uncensored story of emancipation, and share it boldly and unapologetically today.

We’re not here to ask for tolerance. We’re here to demand equality loudly, proudly, and unapologetically.
Stay grounded. Stay hopeful. Keep fighting. ✊🏽 Democracy works only when everyone speaks out. 🏳️‍🌈

Some folks say speaking up is “too political.” But when your identity is debated in courtrooms and classrooms, silence isn’t neutral it’s dangerous.
Protecting LGBTQ+ rights 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️, voting rights , and basic dignity isn’t a left issue. It’s an American issue.

In an era of rampant disinformation and regressive social policies,I’m choosing what I champion based on my own compass. And I’m willing to fight side by side with anyone who shares my goals and principles, no matter how they identify politically, so long as they treat me and the communities I love.

Since my final day as The White House Press Secretary this past January, rarely a day goes by that I’m not stopped in the supermarket, at my daughter’s school, at the bank, in an airport, or in my neighborhood to be asked for my perspective, opinion, or insight etc

14 years ago, I took this photo for the @NOH8Campaign. For the campaign, we were asked to wear tape over our mouths a powerful symbol of the silence forced on the LGBTQ+ community through laws, discrimination, and hate.🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍🌈
This Pride Month,Let’s be proud.
We’re still here,🌈
