A cool mid-October day near the shore. Nobody else here, and probably hasn't been for a few days. The gullls usually spend the summer days stealing lunch bags from the beach goers. Now they swarm anyone that shows up looking for a handout.

After a hot, dry summer we finally got a little rain. AND the deck plantings bloomed. Most plants were grown from seeds and brought indoors for the winter.

Needed some stamps so I stopped by the Truro, Massachusetts Post Office.
But it was closed.

The sign on the door said the were "Short Staffed".
