Green continues browsing, eyes on the screen, apparently entirely indifferent to the evident rampant newspaper roll violence happening outside his field of vision. The whacking noises continue, eventually ending in a final big, meaty whack louder than the others. Blue, still off-screen: Finally! Green, physically and emotionally unmoving, does not look up to see where Blue is as he speaks. Green: Did you get that fly? Blue: Justice has been served.

High white-tailed deer drama! I don't usually think of them as territorial, but this young doe stumbled into the personal space of an older female. The older doe likely had a fawn stashed away, which is why she let the younger doe know her presence wasn't wanted. 🌿🦊
A young reddish-coated white-tailed doe perks up her tail in alarm as she walks up a grassy hill. Her back it to us and we can't see what she's looking at. The young doe has been spotted by an older doe (out of focus in the distance). The older doe is staring her down as the young doe slinks back down the hill. The paler, older white-tailed doe chances the younger one at high speed down a daisy-filled hill. The two white-tailed does run full speed along the side of a highway. The younger doe in the front is panting as she tries to keep ahead of the older doe who is gaining on her.
