A safer place, in a softer world.
A trans boy whose body is ravaged with a fantasy illness called "white leprosy". He hides behind a large snail shell, as a metaphor for protection, for having his own metaphysical place of safety. He has a small "lamin" in front of him. A maranao wooden tower after the indigenous people of the southern Philippines. Curling plants, wildflowers and weeds and other fauna and snails gather at his feet.

Two men in bed together. Annatar and Tyelperinquar, from JRR Tolkien's The Silmarillion. All suspicion is lost between them as they sleep. Annatar has pale skin, and his fana is that of a trans man: he has top surgery scars adorned with flower tattoos, revealed as his robe falls over his slender form to show his chest.
