I did my part in a tiny piece of democracy last night. I went to our village meeting and spoke in support of a Welcoming Ordinance to discourage 🧊. The village unanimously approved a Welcoming Resolution, which doesn’t have as many teeth as an ordinance, but it’s a step in the right direction.

We like to say ‘Every day another horror.’ But now it seems like ‘every day more horrors.’ Plural. It’s no longer partisan politics. You can’t say they’re both awful. This is straight up good vs evil. Also, there is nothing Christian about abject cruelty.
