Yikes in a city that is pushing density + multi-unit residential bldgs as much as #Fredericton is, not having #recycling in all apartments sorted before removing the community bins is a pretty big fail? People who want to recycle should have an option, it shouldn’t be up to a landlord’s compliance.

This is pretty sad. When Freddy had ZERO options for walk-ins during Covid, Minto welcomed so many of us... no glares, no questions, just care.

Sadly, so many people (especially when the value is on short term gains over long term ones) don't tend to act on climate without regulations…

This is an economist showing a lack of human understanding.

I really wish someone in the media would flip this around:

"Group dashes community hopes to replace 100 year old middle school - with no ventilation or fields - in only remaining central location."

Look at it from the perspective of students and staff who are waiting on a much needed new school.

It’s frustrating to watch interviews like the one between the @thedailyshow.com’s Jon Stewart & @elizkolbert.bsky.social tonight, suggesting we don’t know the solutions to the #ClimateCrisis, & better solutions aren’t “politically viable.” WE KNOW THE SOLUTIONS, AND ONLY CORRUPTION MAKES THEM HARD.

Serious question: how much #upfrontcarbon does it take to build a pipeline?

And the least climate and sustainability friendly budget since the Harper years passes. Sigh.

ICYMI: Canada burned this summer, trees burned, and they cut the 2 billion trees, planting them, program. Also goes against Canada’s 2030 Nature Strategy.

Yes, they might.
And he should wear it as a badge of honour.
Standing up for humanity, for science and a habitable planet.
Where's the hazard in that?
