When you use genAI, you become a statistic. Those companies can now use that to gain more funding and contracts. “See how many users we have! See, devs are using it, so it’s obviously good for game development!” You are contributing to the replacement of people’s jobs, whether you intend it or not.

Y’all, there is no ethical use of genAI, in any capacity. No, not even if voice actors agree to have their voices used. No, not even if it’s just used for a shopping list, or brainstorming, placeholders, etc. Your actions do not exist in a bubble. Using it at all is supporting it.

Not to be the fun police but I do hope people know that Arc Raiders does use generative AI for voice acting, and by supporting the game you're letting higher-ups know that this is an okay practice.

Wasn't able to take a skin allergy test because my skin is too reactive to everything LOL. The doctor said it would make the allergy test falsely report results. So I will be getting more bloodwork done, but I can take allergy meds that they prescribed!!! YIPPEE LESS SNEEZING
