After Chris's appearance alteration at the end of RE7 and the backlash, Capcom literally got scared straight into being unwilling to alter the characters appearance that at this point it's actually doing a disservice to the characters design as they age.

Remember your favorite creator possibly might be struggling with imposter syndrome and doubt and this timeline sucks.. so if you find yourself thinking “wow I really relate to this persons work” or that persons work gives you joy, you should probably tell them. It’s a hard time to be a creative.

I think as nervous as I am about being out of a job soon, all the signs are pointing to things are going to be okay and I'm going to hold on to that.
