One thing that is unique in this novel is that the protagonist's name is not revealed until the end. Instead, you get phrases like [Uninteresting Classmate]-kun, [Cruel Classmate]-kun, etc... where the phrases are the protagonist's speculation on what people think of him when they call his name.
