concepts for a fakemon i wanted to see when i learned about the past/future aesthetic in Scar/Vi. the idea was you could get the puppy in both games, and it can evolve into either dogmon; in Scarlet you receive the Paleo Band, and in Violet you receive the Tech Collar

Had an amazing time with the Sketchy Crew coming up with Fakemon and evolutions for them on the spot in Gartic Phone! Here's a handful of them that turned out incredible! Definitely doing this again soon!

Several drawings of fake pokemon designs made up by our drawing group, the evolutions were drawn by a different member by the group and all illustrations were made in Gartic Phone with a small time limit. The fakemon include a little dude with dirt pants that evolves into a sand dragon, a little candy bat that evolves into a larger vampiric bat. A greaser duck that evolves into a yakuza and then a big mob boss. A grass sloth that evolves into a forested mountain mole/sloth. Sentient boba tea that spills and evolves into a ghostly liquid. A bunny made of carrots that evolves into a bruiser and an ice cube that evolves into a snowman serpent of ice.

These Pokémon are thought to have mutated from a subset of Boldore that lived closely with Carbink. Some Kosmono developed further to act as guards for Diancie.

I once had an idea for a starter trio based on a butcher, baker, and candlestick maker, and the grass starter was the candlestick maker. The secondary types make this trio idea a bit wonky, but I'll share all of them over time anyway! #fakemon
Lonlei Region: Wittle, the Wick Pokemon. Type: Grass | Dex Entry: The twig on its head continuously grows and it must sand it down using rocks. Sometimes it triggers a small fire against the rock. Lonlei Region: Candalef, the Spice Pokemon. Types: Grass/Fire | Dex entry: A small pepper grows from its head, which is the hottest pepper known to man. It is so hot that those who eat it burst into flames. Lonlei Region: Luminatre, the Smolder Pokemon. Types: Grass/Fire | Dex entry: Its leaves are so spicy that some heat up and start burning on their own, and in the winter its warmth melts the snow around it.

This is Tiglet, Aquara, and Acarybdis. They're based on tigren, acara, and maraquan acara with a theme of 'evolving to progressively become more aquatic'.

It resembles a blue puppy with white markings, pink cheeks, and fin-like ears. It evolves into Aquara, based on the regular acara species. It's blue with pink feet and shell-shaped ears, and a purple furless spot on its head sprouts two striped tentacles. The final evolution is Acarybdis, based on the maraquan acara color. Its body resembles some sort of mammal, but completely furless and with octopus tentacles replacing its limbs, and sprouting from its head. It has fins in place of ears and a sharp beak-like mouth. Overall its body is striped in different shades of purple, and it has big cyan eyes with pink scleras, and sideways V shaped pupils. #pokemonneopia

retro pokemon style sprites of three mons. first is a small sphere with a ruffle skirt, button eyes, and a large ribbon. middle is similar, but it now has a thin body separating the head and skirt, and the head ribbon tips now evoke two arms. final is a living mannequin, with sharp cutting fingers, a tattered skirt, and dark wispy hair. shiny palette colors. the original colors are pink and purple, while the shinies go from red, to magenta, to blue.
