I’m Kaela Berg — a mom, flight attendant, union leader & State Rep. I’ve spent my life fighting for working families. With Washington shut down, it’s clearer than ever we need leaders who’ll fight for us — not billionaire donors.
Thank you to the Millwrights and Machine Erectors for their endorsement of our campaign! I am running for Congress to be a champion for working people, like myself, which is why I am thrilled that Local 548 is joining the team.

Thank you to Frank Sachs and everyone at Frank Talks for having me last night. This is such a passionate group of DFLers who get together to learn about history every month with the shared belief in a better Minnesota.

Gov. Walz has always put Minnesotans first. Under his leadership, we passed free school meals, paid family and medical leave, and codified abortion rights. When the Legislature returns, we’ll keep working to make life better for all Minnesotans.
Minnesota has to come first - always.

Today, I’m proud of the work we’ve done to make Minnesota the best place to live and raise kids.

I’ve decided to step out of the race and let others worry about the election while I focus on the work.

I am disgusted by the President's amplification of harmful conspiracies about my former colleague and friend, Melissa Hortman.

To twist the pain and loss that their family, community, and people in every corner of Minnesota feel is an act of continued political violence.

There is no doubt, Maduro is a bad guy. But just two days after millions saw healthcare costs soar and as grocery prices stay up, Trump is sending taxpayer dollars to Venezuela so he can “run the country.” When will Washington learn we want lower costs and jobs, not foreign wars.

Today, millions of Americans saw their health insurance bills skyrocket. Millions more will lose coverage altogether.

I went without health care during the Pandemic. I know that fear.

It's time to send people to Congress who understand the cost because they live it too.

Suggested 2026 resolutions for Congress:

(1) Stop members of Congress from stock trading

(2) Ban corporate PAC money from politics

(3) Overturn Citizens United, make elections about the people, not the dollars

I'm furious about the fraud that has perpetuated since the pandemic. We need smart, capable leadership to prevent this from ever happening again - not the Trump admin's despicable attempt to politicize this issue and cut off care for the children and families who need it.

I’m a flight attendant. I fly across the country, into many different communities and I see how rising costs are affecting families just like yours and mine. That’s why I’m running for Congress. We deserve Representatives who understand this economy because they live it.

Wishing everyone a beautiful and bright Christmas this year!

I know this time of year can be complex, I hope you find peace and light today wherever you can 🎄❤️💚

Flying doesn’t have to be this expensive or inconvenient.

As we head into the busiest travel season of the year, here are three helpful tips.

And if I’m working your flight home this holiday season, be sure to say hello!

Standing in solidarity with my union brothers in CWA today.

These abductions do not make Minnesota safer. It's about attacking working people and stoking fear in our communities.

We need tough, serious oversight to crack down on fraud while protecting the programs hardworking families rely on.

Proud to receive an endorsement from my brothers and sisters at IUPAT today!

IUPAT District 82 represents workers in the finishing trades across the Midwest. I’m running for Congress to be a champion for working people, and I’m so grateful to have their support.

I'm so proud to be endorsed by Her Bold Move, an organization ensuring the future is shaped by women’s leadership. I’m running for Congress because those most impacted by policy should be the ones writing it—excited to have HBM on our team!

I’m very disturbed to hear about the threats to ISD 196 and the surrounding area today and so grateful to all of the public safety officials who made sure that every child got home safely.

I am a working mom who has held multiple jobs to make ends meet, including still flying as a Flight Attendant while running for Congress.

That’s why I fought for PFL in the state house—so every parent can care for a new child without worrying about putting food on the table.
Minnesota’s paid leave policy launches next month. Here’s what to know.
Workers are entitled to 12 weeks of leave for a new baby, an illness or to care for a loved one.

Tonight, on the first night of Hannukah, I’m thinking about the tragic attack on the Jewish community in Sydney.

I am deeply disturbed by the rise in antisemitism and stand with my Jewish brothers and sisters around the world in mourning the lives lost and all those who were impacted.

I am heartbroken for the students killed and injured at Brown. No one studying for finals or heading into the holidays should face this kind of violence. This isn’t inevitable, sensible gun violence prevention laws can and will save lives.

Millions of Americans are about to see their insurance premiums skyrocket because of Republicans in Congress.

Millions more could lose their health care.

As someone who went without health care through a global pandemic, I know how scary this is.

This is unconscionable.

Last night, Donald Trump called affordability concerns a “scam” and a “hoax.”

But rising costs are very real in my bank account!

I’m running for Congress because working Minnesotans deserve leaders who believe us when we say things are unaffordable, because they feel it too!

The Hepatitis B vaccine is safe, tested, and has kept children in Minnesota and across the country healthy for decades.

As a mom, I’m horrified by RFK Jr.’s political rollback that makes all our kids less safe and undermines years of medical precedent.
