Atroce que les consoliers ne proposent pas leur SDK et outils sur d’autres plateformes que Windows. Sony avait fait le pas avec le SDK de la PS2 à l’époque, rien depuis…
Ça me ferait tellement plaisir de laisser de côté Microsoft et Windows pour du full Linux!

Malheureusement l’IA dans l’armée c’est inévitable, je suis contre, mais c’est déjà en mouvement.
Maintenant, quitte à se prendre le mur autant activer l’airbag avant…

Content que ça se mette en place (au moins) dans le milieu de la recherche en France et en Europe.
Maintenant ce serai bien que les autres établissements et infrastructures de l’UE (je pense notamment au secteur de la défense) se bouge aussi dans ce sens…

Ça suit la grosse tendance du marché au final, où les recrutements sont en berne partout. Je n’ai pas vraiment compris où est la faute par contre. J’ai eu l’impression un moment que tout le monde shiftait à cause de l’IA mais j’ai plus l’impression que c’est plus une « excuse » qu’une cause réelle.

I don’t trust Adobe since a while to be honest, so I was not surprised with this move. I have hope this will impact badly their business, and I hope people will look for OSS, found / support financially someone for the development (still less than Adobe) of an OFFLINE solution.

Also, do not forget that most home today still have 1080p TVs. 4k TVs (and screens) are still not in every house, and TV channels do not even stream 4k content most of the time...
So why going after something that is not yet mainstream? 🤷

Those LLM things, and I include everything in it, are built on top of what is culture today (and not only). Many people, who barely makes a living, have been stolen to build those stuff. And, now, they should "move on" to something else before being replaced... ?

Aaron Swartz, a brilliant programmer, was threatened of 35y of prison for 1000x less than that. He did that for fair access to Science.
He took his life 14y ago. Sad.

I use crossover to play on mac sometimes, it works pretty well with DX11 and Vulkan drivers (except if the Vk extensions are not compatible with MoltenVK state), so let's see!
