Why am I so against generative AI in games?
Because I simply do not want my initial reaction to art to be one of suspicion and scrutiny, AI slop is fundamentally damaging my relationship to art and artistry, and I am deeply resentful that it is forcing me to be guarded when I should be wowed.

I keep seeing mods for MonHun that are like "auto dodge/block when hit" or "infinite consumables and buffs" and I feel like you've completely missed the spirit of the game if this is what you're using.

Writing referrals is such a WEIRD thing. I referred a new author to my editor and I felt like I was a spambot the entire time.

I read 2 chapters of a book on Saturday and I am still violently upset about its quality. I've never been so angry at a book before.

Do not, under any circumstances, put a CHARACTER GUIDE at the start of your book.
I'm doing an ARC read and this author laid out every character of note at the start of the book.

Stop using MS Office and Google Docs. Libre Office is free, it's just as good, and it won't steal your work for AI.
No built-in AI bullshit trying to rewrite your work. No theft. No fees. It's on every OS out there and it's light on CPU usage.
