I still don’t think that most Americans quite get it, that a lot of Canadians aren’t just traveling to America, the majority of us see Canadians that cross the border now as traitors. Traitors to our country, traitors to democracy. No amount of discounts or tourism ads will change that.

They want “greatness,” but stripping rights, killing healthcare, & crushing the poor isn’t great, it’s cruel. A great country protects its people, not punishes them.

In 1974, one job paid for a home, kids, car, and vacation.
The minimum wage in '74 was $2/hr. Today in most parts of this country you’d need $60-75/hr to live the same life.
Wages are flat. Everything else has skyrocketed.
It’s a rigged system funneling money upward while the rest of us drown.

The lack of information on the "new trade deals" shows the US a hard truth, you are not the country you thought you were. Since ww2 you have been taught about US exceptionalism, but that's hasn't been true in a long time now.. the futur is in your hands, be what you thought you were or even better.
