The Gateshead Flyover is a sorry state of affairs for sure, but at least there is some mitigation given its age. This is brand new - hugely disappointing for the North East.
Yes, you read that correctly - yet another piece of major North East infrastructure with structural defects, this time on the A1.

Indebted to residents who flagged up this issue, which was in the construction trade press at the back end of last year.
