Pretty entrenched in the cycle:

-Wake up
-Sense of dread
-Maybe I’ll take a break from the news today
-Screw it, what happened?
-This can’t be real
-Why aren’t more people freaking out about this?
-Time to go to bed

It’s not hard to choose to be on the right side of history. But damn it’s hard to watch the other side smugly prove you right over and over again.

How about in every new issue of a magazine or newspaper from now on, publishers put one of the Federalist Papers in there right next to the part of the Constitution that it references? Add a cartoon for those who don’t want to read that much.

My political wish list:
1. Term limits at every level
2. Meaningful, strict campaign finance reform
3. Redraw sane Congressional districts, end gerrymandering
4. Prohibit campaigning and fundraising activity in first 1/2 of term
5. Prohibit reps stock trading
6. All reps on Medicare or Tricare
