I only knew El Gran Grupo from their self-titled album, so this reissue of "Sí aquí llegó ya" from El Palmas Music is a real treat. A beautiful slice of 1970s Venezuelan tropical music, thoughtfully brought back for a new wave of listeners and collectors. ¡Bravo! #ElPalmasMusic

I only knew El Gran Grupo from their self-titled album, so this reissue of "Sí aquí llegó ya" from El Palmas Music is a real treat. A beautiful slice of 1970s Venezuelan tropical music, thoughtfully brought back for a new wave of listeners and collectors. ¡Bravo! #ElPalmasMusic

Didn’t get the role after an 11-week, multi-stage interview process.
Disappointing, sure, but also a reminder of how much I learned stepping back into interviews after 33 years. Sharper, more prepared, and moving forward.

Ace Frehley was one of my first heroes. The silver boots, the smoke, the swagger; he made rock feel larger than life. For a kid with a cheap guitar, that was enough to dream big.
