Legends Z-A perfectly replicated that feeling of childhood wonder I had for Lumiose city. Helps that the game has probably the best writing of any pokemon game and some of my new favorite Pokemon designs. The real time battle mechanic is also super fun!

Having finished Pokemon Legends Z-A a few days ago and letting my thoughts cook, this might be my new favorite Pokemon game. I played the absolute shit out of X as a kid. One of my favorite things to do in X was just running around and exploring Lumiose city.

Had a 4-day weekend for Veteran's Day, and I just spent the entirety of my last day beating Super Mario Kart. Fun game at first but the 150cc mode is soul crushingly hard. I went through a majority of the game without save states, but by 150 Flower cup, I had to use em.

It's been kinda wild talking to people who either only got into Godzilla in the last few years, or are kids, and hearing them have no idea what I mean when I say Godzilla's Revenge or vs Monster Zero. Really puts in to perspective that I've been into this Godzilla shit for like 20 years atp
