Do you know that feeling when you finish a Lego set, stand back a bit and think: “damn, it all came together in the end”.

Sometimes life is like that. Just without the instructions. You got this!
Reached the most boring part of the Lego NES build: 2x30 pieces of track 😪

Although it is a bit tedious, I appreciate the cleverness behind it, so I get why it’s needed, but oh god will it get worse before it gets better 🫣

Finished the NES itself and OMG the cartridge mechanism is soo satisfying!

The latch is a 2x2 upside down plate, holding a technic rod into place when it’s pushed down. So creative! 😯

Started building the Lego 71374 NES and I have to say - it’s shaping up to be one of the most interesting ones in my collection.

I am just 3 bags in, but I can already see so many clever techniques to get the cartridge mechanism working.

Cannot wait to see what’s next! 🤩

Added the Lego 75398 C-3PO to the collection tonight and I was reluctant to get this one at first.

But the promo pictures don’t do it justice. Absolutely jam packed with SNOT techniques, especially for the head piece.

Display-ability: 5/5⭐️
Build experience: 4.5/5⭐️
Play features: 2/5⭐️

Just finished the 75375 Lego Millennium Falcon and I have to say it was one of the most enjoyable building experiences recently.

The build looks great, includes several custom printed parts (no stickers for this one 😮), has all the details of the iconic ship, and it is displayed at an angle! 🤩

Finished putting together the Lego Commander Cody helmet and I have to say it was one of the ones I enjoyed most.

It was full of great building techniques to achieve that iconic nose bridge, with clamps angling two halves of the face.

It was also the first Lego I saw with only paper bags!

Really happy with how this one turned out. It was the first time I saw the Brick Headz techniques into a larger set, so it was a lot of fun building it.

That is, until I had to layer black bricks on top of more black bricks 😵 RIP my eyes

I still remember just watching the 2 Fast 2 Furious intro, thinking “Oh man, Brian is so cool 🥶”

Now I got a Lego model of his car, with surprisingly many details. Only thing missing now is adding some actual blue lights under it 😄

These Lego Star Wars helmets look absolutely fabulous, from afar and up close 🧐

Full of SNOT techniques and ingenious ways of creating all the necessary curves to give out that realism 😯

If anyone is looking for a Lego building soundtrack, I highly recommend the works of Masayoshi Takanaka.

Perfect sounds to just carry you away 😊

Really loved this Speed Champions set. Was also my first one and the smile on the minifig’s face is only half as big as mine when I am looking at this one 😁

What’s something sustainable you can do with Lego separators?

Anyone knows if you can turn them back in to Lego as you can with spare pcs/kg?

To this day, the Daytona SP3 is one of the best looking sets in my collection. I still can’t believe this is Lego 😲
