I live in the PNW, am happily married, have four kids and an energetic lab names Luna. My therapist said “I get why you have a lot of stress”… trying to laugh instead of cry.
My family has been sick since Christmas. My wife just now getting over pneumonia that doctors were x-raying her for at T-give.
So the shock and horror I immediately felt when I saw my seven-year-old licking a frozen puddle he found at the park may be unsurprising…
We will never not be sick…

“That's a nice clean floor/rug/carpet/couch/bed/chair/anything-but-a-washable-receptacle-or-toilet… It would be a shame if I coated it in a thick layer of puke!”
