The idea that the Mavs were going to be bad now was/is baffling. The trade value will always be hard to square, but AD is a top-10 player in his prime, now playing on the deepest team -- frankly, one of the only deep teams -- he's ever played with. The problem isn't *this* season.

Recorded this *before* it was made clear that Dallas, and not Luka, was pushing for a deal. The only way it made sense was if Luka demanded a trade; turns out, it was just historically nuts!
