Calibration can be done internally within a company as well as through an external lab, depending on requirements. The important aspect to remember is to stay compliant to requirements set forth by the client/customer and regulatory elements. #calibration #requirements #business #compliance #lab

There are a number of calibration requirements from around the world at the regularion level to ISO, down to how a company handles it internally. Each comes with costs but is important for compliance. #calibrate #compliance #calibration #requirements #business

Calibration can often be overlooked, but it is a critical aspect to ensure the tools you're using to achieve your client/customer needs are met correctly and are compliant. An out of calibration tool can cause rework and recall. #recall #tool #calibration #compliance #compliant

The containment action is the first step when an issue is discovered. It can be for any type of business/function and is an important element in a corrective action plan. Contain the problem quickly when found. #containment #capa #problem #action #business

To fix problems, they need to be identified but also corrected in order. Jumping into prevention before correction will cause issues down the line. The Correction Action Plan needs to be used as a tool of steps to take proper action. #capa #correction #problems #prevent #corrective

Assessing yourself periodically is important to ensure you are on point with goals and look for improvement opportunities. Companies may have annual assessments that may or may help anyone, but looking inward at yourself and taking action, as needed, is important. #self-assessment #opportunity

There is supposed to be structure to a quality system. How detailed and complicated, or not, is up to the need of the business.
If a business is not interested in ISO certification or following its principles, I suppose it doesn't matter, but it still helps the business and employees.

An absentee leader can be just as bad as one who micromanages employees. A leader needs to find the sweet spot between those two for effective management/leadership. Employees need guidance & support, but too much or too little can be damaging. #absentee #micromanaging #leader #effective #sweetspot

Workplace sabotage is an intentional effort to disrupt, undermine, or damage an operation or to harm the reputation of a colleague (s). Unlike accidents/incompetence, it is intentional, based on feelings of injustice, insecurity, or a desire for power. It is unprofessional, damaging & childish.

Many businesses are using language geared toward consumers and not necessarily customers. They are not always the same. It can also devalue, in my opinion, the place a client/customer has in a business if abused. #consumer #customer #client #business
