Some pics of recent flooding in my neighborhood. We were lucky . We had some property loss but it was minimal. Some neighbors had 4 feet of mud in their homes and their homes are total losses.

Red Ash Coal Store Company in Raven, VA, 1930s. About 10 minutes from where I live. But no longer exists. The miners were paid in scrip which a dollar script bought about the equivalent of 30 cents elsewhere.
